The Cisco VPN 3060 is a virtual private network (VPN) platform
designed for large organizations that require the highest level of
performance and reliability and have high-bandwidth requirements
from fractional T3 through full T3/E3 or greater (100 Mbps maximum
performance). The VPN 3060 offers support for up to 5000
simultaneous IP security (IPSec) sessions, or 500 simultaneous
clientless sessions. Specialized Scalable Encryption Processing
(SEP) modules perform hardware-based acceleration. Both redundant
and nonredundant configurations are available.
The Cisco VPN 3060 offers:

- Three 10/100BASE-T Ethernet interfaces (autosensing)
As with the other models in the Cisco VPN 3000 Series, the VPN
3060 Concentrator also provides the following features:
- Motorola PowerPC CPU
- Synchronous dynamic RAM (SDRAM) for normal operation
- Nonvolatile memory for critical system parameters
- Flash memory for file management
